Platypus sometimes referred to as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic, egg-laying mammal from Australia.
Despite being a mammal, platypuses lay eggs – making them a monotreme. They’re one of only five monotreme species left in existence.
Each Schleich figurine is carefully hand-painted with non-toxic paint.
