Baukje Exler has been an artist for over 20 years. Specialising in oil pastels her work encompasses both figurative and abstract art, with a focus on abstract landscapes. She applies the pastels layer by layer and blends them with a cloth. In each piece, she seeks the interplay between color and light. Baukje's goal is to draw the viewer into her artwork, towards the light, allowing them to momentarily drift away and be touched by the play of colors.
