Lucite Rods

Introducing the long anticipated lucite rods / stepped blocks by Papoose!

A wonderful complement to the Bauspiel lucite and stepped block range, providing countless open-ended building opportunities.

Steps from 2.5cm up to 17.5cm in 2.5cm increments.
Size is 2.5 x 2.5cm, lengths are 2.5, 5,7.5,10, 12.5, 15  & 17.5cm.
Smallest block (cube) is red, then orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink.
Presented in a wooden tray, the sizing of these rods fits other Papoose blocks.

This set of 35 lucite blocks comes in 7 different colours, they reflect the light beautifully and can be used in scientific experiments to show the effect of light as it passes through the rods.

Also available as a sample set of 7 (with no storage box) - one of every colour.

Use them for sorting, counting, building mosaics, mandalas and towers, or even pop them in water for sensory activities.

Please note : due to the size of these lucites, it is almost impossible to not have some friction between the rods during transit.  As such, some will have scuff marks on the exterior, this is not a flaw, it is expected that they will naturally mark over time with play.

It is recommended NOT to let kids play with these items on concrete, tiles or hard surfaces. They are all compliant with EN71 for age 3+ (fully tested) but the pieces can chip when dropped on a very hard surface from a table top height.  They can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth.

Choking hazard due to small parts, this toy is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
